Today is the final day of the preseason. All tackle athletes should wear their helmets and cleats ONLY.
IT’S ABOUT TIME!!!!
The 2024 Fall football and cheer season will officially begin on Monday August 5th. Please note that if your athlete is NOT REGISTERED, they will not be permitted on the practice field at any time. Please ensure that parents and guardians have connected with your perspective team mom or head to be added to the individual team groupme.
EQUIPMENT HANDOUT: We will complete equipment handouts today from 5:45-6:30pm. If your REGISTERED athlete has not received their equipment, please meet at the trailer located in the back parking lot of John Hanson. All accounts must be in good standing. Any past due balances will have to be satisfied before equipment is distributed. Payments can be made on-site.
UNIFORM SIZING: Uniform sizing will complete uniform sizing on Monday and Tuesday next week from 5:45-6:30pm on the practice field for tackle football and cheer. If your athlete has not been sized, PLEASE ensure that sizing is completed by Tuesday to guarantee that your athlete will have a uniform before the first game of the season.
ID REMINDER: All tackle football athletes are required to have either a state issued ID, Military ID or passport to participate in all regular season games. These items will be collected and maintained by the Coaching staff for the duration of the season and retrieved at the end of the season during equipment return.
Field etiquette:
*Parking- The practice field is not for general parking purposes. Coaches and staff park on the field to transport practice and organization equipment. If you do not have a specific role on the WYS board, please utilize the parking lots for either Ryon or the back portion of Hanson.
*Trash- Please note that WYS is required to attain a permit through CCBOE to use our practice field. If we do not keep the field as tidy as possible, we are at risk of losing our field space. Please help us maintain our practice field by doing your part.
